Stars and Stripes dishcloth

I was making this Stars and Stripes dishcloth (PDF link).
For some reason my rows weren't adding up (I'm sure I messed my count up) and then the peaks weren't matching, so I had to rip it all out... Back to the drawing board. Le sigh.
