Happy Birthday, Sylvester!

My baby turned one today! He also started waving today. He refused to eat the cupcake we gave him, despite putting icing in his mouth and breaking it up. We took tons of pictures and video, but here's just a few I have.

Happy Easter! I hope everyone had a wonderful day! We went out to dinner last night for Sly's birthday, because we thought Dad would have to leave before Sly got off work today but we both got off work at 12, yipee! We hung around the house for a while and then went and picked up some tomatoes for Dad. We had to come home and take some pictures after that. 

You'll have to excuse my "exhausted" look. Sylvester decided to stay awake from 3am-5am and I had to then be up at 630am. Oh well, I love him! And I just put him in bed with me and snuggled. :)

Happy Birthday Donald!

Today is my little brothers 22 birthday! Happy Birthday to him! Sadly, he's working night shifts, so we can't really celebrate until next week but we'll do something for him.

Sylvester didn't sleep well again last night, but it was better. He woke up at about 0400 and was up on and off for about an hour and then slept until about 0630. Oh well. I'm hoping we'll get back on track one of these days. He went to bed a bit earlier today, so hopefully he'll get some good rest in (and maybe Dad and I can too).

I moved all my patterns to the Nook and they're really easy to read on there. I wasn't sure what the format would be like but it's pretty nice. The PDF files look better, but I haven't converted them all yet. Project for next week, perhaps!

Speaking of projects, I'm going to try to get my seeds started tomorrow. I'm already late getting that done, but better late then never, right? Maybe on Sly's spring break he can put me a bed in or I might just do everything in pots this year. I do like the way potted plants look, but I love me a raised bed garden too. I know I mentioned it when I got it but I love the book The Backyard Homestead: Produce all the food you need on just a quarter acre!.

Birthday dinner

I hope to have a good day tomorrow! I've decided that Wednesday will be business day - Sly is at school/work most, if not all, of the day, so it's a good day to do it. I'm hoping to make a few things every Wednesday and get them online in the same day. Tomorrow is a little weird because I actually have to go into work for a few hours but we'll make it work.

I got a few pictures of my b'day dindin, and I thought I'd share. :) 

Happy Birthday to me!

Thanks everyone for b'day wishes! I had a great day. The morning was quiet, took a little nap, then we went to dinner with the family.

I came home and decided to format my computer, and now I'm having some issues getting windows back on it. So, I'm blogging from my phone. :( No checking up on Ravelry tonight!

I'm going to do a little crocheting on my ripple blanket and then hit the rack. G'night!

Happy Birthday Mom!

Today is my Moms birthday, she's 29 again with a few anniversaries. *winks* We had a good evening, we made black bean soup (love it). I didn't get any pictures though, sadly. I had a god awful headache all night, it broke about the time everyone was going home. I've had a headache on a daily basis for about a week now, I'm not sure what's going on. Bleh, oh well. I think they all had a good time, we had some good laughs.

Sylvester was going through a growth spurt today so he ate every 1.5 hours to 2 hours, so it's been a long day of having my boobs out most of the day. It's so strange that he hasn't "gained" any weight apparently. We weighed him at work and he weighed one ounce more then the week prior. I think my Mom might be right, he hadn't pooped in a week when we weighed him the week before and he'd just pooped when we weighed him this past week. He seems to be chubbier to me, his cheeks are fuller and he's got more of a gut, so I just can't believe he's not gaining.

I got 4 of 6 face scrubbies crocheted for the first set that I want to put on Etsy. I listed my earrings today, I had one very beachy set and one 3 piece set. I hope to finish and list the scrubbies tomorrow and maybe start my blanket or any number of other projects I want to get done. *smiles* No headaches tomorrow I hope!

Sly's 30th birthday

We went to the OB today, got to hear the heart beat with doppler. We have our next U/S on May 20th.

Sly turns 30 on Saturday, and we're at Olive Garden tonight to celebrate. We work both Saturday and Sunday and all next week is finals, so tonight is really our only chance to celebrate. I think he's handling it very well, all things considered. ;)

Visitng Dad for his 50th B'day!

So we made it to PA fine and Dad had no idea until we got here, it was great! We're going to be here until Sunday morning, we fly out at 6am, sadly. I work all Sunday and then go to my U/S Monday, woooohoo! I'm going to see if I can upload the first U/S picture we got. It says 8 weeks, because that's what we thought we were at but it was actually 6 weeks along.
