Infant Socks

I made these socks using the North Country Cotton Baby Socks pattern. I changed the heel using a slip 1, knit 1 (purl 1) pattern instead of the knit/purl heel. I used Red Heart Spring Green yarn, it's very pretty in color but I hope it softens up when I wash it, otherwise these will be worn over a pair of soft socks. These look a little big for a newborn but the pattern says "baby" socks, it will probably be a while before a newborn can wear 'em. The pattern was easy to follow and these socks knit up so fast! Here's a few pictures of the finished socks.
